This past week for a special place to take relatives to learn fly fishing we landed on Friday evening and stayed into the following Tuesday.
So dates were set for all to get there. Couple of weeks back I gathered up my Fly Poles/Reels and made sure they were ready… Ever discussed the question of “When you fish do you right or left retrieve?, On you Reel?, Don’t Know?”. [This will be fun!] Our group members of our group: 1 Californian, 1 Washington D.C., 4 Wisconsin. We are all professionals, living careers with families and take the time out to do this type of deeper relative relations. We all had a great time some had a-lot of firsts. Every four to six years we do this type of even and have fished across the California Sierras. (Last Trip 2014/15)
We used Jim Romberg for a Guide. Fly Fisherman’s Lair. 608 822-3005. The Big River Guest House was a wonderful place!, Just the right distances from fishing, even with the 5-6 inches of rain that took a day of fishing away.
